Volkswagen and respective Audi uses battery cells from multiple vendors. Since e-tron held its world premiere, vendors have also changed. Audi e-tron battery packs come in two sizes currently. It is expected that a larger pack will be added to the 2023 model.
There is a total of 95kWh in the battery for the Audi e-tron 55/e-tron 60S, with a voltage of 396 volts. A total of 432 cells are contained in 36 modules of 12 cells each. Each module is connected in a 4p3s configuration.
As each cell has 60Ah, a parallel group consists of 240Ah. 4 x 60Ah = 240Ah. Using 36 modules like this in serial, the nominal voltage is 396 volts. 240ah * 396volts = 95 040 Watt-hours (Wh) or 95 kWh (kilowatt-hours)
Modules operate at 11 Volts with 240 x 11 = 2640 Wh or 2.64 kWh of capacity. Each module weighs approximately 13kg.

LG Chem: Prior to January 2021, the e-tron 55 used LG Chem E66A, a LG Chem Pouch Cell produced in Poland.
Samsung SDI: Samsung SDI cells have been used in the 71 kWh battery for Audi e-tron 50 since the beginning. Cells of the Samsung Prismatic type are manufactured by Samsung SDI in Budapest, Hungary. Samsung SDI batteries replaced the e-tron 55 battery cells as of January 2021.
