The shipment of Aiways U6 to Israel officially kicks off AIWAYS’ “going abroad” plan for 2022. According to several reports, AIWAYS has exported 1,676 new-energy vehicles in the last year (2021), an increase of 62.9% year-on-year. AIWAYS reported that the first batch of models was exported to France in May 2020. Since then, AIWAYS has been able to land in France, Germany, and Belgium as well as in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, and Portugal with an overall export volume of 2,783 units. The AIWAYS U6 model is also expected to begin a new journey on overseas markets. The new Aiways U6 SUV is a compact, pure electric coupe. It is also the second mass-produced model from Aiways Auto. The official launch of the new car is planned for the first quarter of 2022.

AIWAYS actually released the model plan as early as 2020 China International Import Expo. AIWAYS will launch U6 and U7 models.

The concept car stage for the AIWAYS U7 remains. At the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, the car’s concept model, U7 ION was unveiled. The new model is available in a six-seater SUV of medium size. Its body design is also cross-border. The overall shape of the car is simple, smooth, and features bar-type daytime running lamps and taillights. This creates an evocative sense of technology.

Objective factors like the epidemic and chip shortages will have a bigger impact on the auto industry in 2021. This has not prevented the Chinese export of new-energy vehicles. China Automobile Association data shows that in 2021 the country’s export volume will surpass 2 million units and the new vehicle export volume will rise to 310,000 units. This is a more than three-fold increase year-over-year.

The first AIWAYS brand experience shop and flagship store in Tel Aviv were officially opened in December 2021. To meet the needs of car owners, AIWAYS also opened a large-scale parts warehouse in Europe. AIWAYS had also applied for 1,060 patents by 2021 and performed well in both technological innovation and intelligence.
